Happy Mothers Day!

Mother' day is one of my most favorite days of the year. Signs of spring blooming, children playing in the yard and the laughter of family and friends fill the air.
Growing up, my mom was the matriarch of our family. Ensuring family ties were kept, showing love to all creatures of God as well as teaching me some amazing  life lessons.
I can't believe she has been gone for 20 years. Twenty years....I suppose with each passing year, time seems to pass faster and faster.... almost at the speed of light.
As the wind softly blows on my face unseen but felt; so is my mom's compassionate, loving presence in my heart.
Being a mother myself, I step back every now and again; chuckle and say "WOW did I just sound like my mom or what" Maybe you can relate...
I am so grateful to have been raised by an amazing, fun, compassionate, hard working woman and empowered by her legacy to be a the best mother I can be to my four awesome children.
I hope someday they will be filled with gratitude and empowerment as I was.
Whether you are a mom or have a mom or maybe someone whom raised you as a mom...I hope you have a beautiful Mothers Day and may many blessings come your way!

A Day in my Young Living Life

Often times I get asked by others how they should start with Young Living, what Young Living Products to use and how to incorporate them into their daily life.

What better way then to share a day in my life!

Upon waking in the morning I reach over and grab my Present Time oil, put a few drops into my hands and inhale. This helps me stay in the present moment so I can enjoy the limited time with my family before going to work. Then off to the bathroom, where I shower using Young Living shampoo and conditioner-the Copaiba Vanilla is my favorite, ART face wash and Morning Start shower gel. I always apply Thieves oils to my feet for immune protection, as well as use Thieves toothpaste and mouthwash. I apply my ART moisturizer to my face and use Aromagaurd deodorant.

For breakfast I may have a smoothie and add essential oils to them such as lemon. I have a shot of Ningxia red, take my chewable vitamin C and use the "Happy Every Day Protocol". This Protocol incorporates the following essential Oils: Joy on my heart center, Valor on my wrists, Harmony on my solar plexus and White Angelica as my shield. Now I am ready for my day-protected health wise, spiritually and emotionally!

In my car on the way to work I diffuse oils while listening to a medication CD (No I don't close my eyes while driving). Lately I have been diffusing Ylang Ylang and Bergamot-the combination helps balance my masculine and feminine sides and bring a sense of joy. Prior to entering work, I apply Brain Power essential oil to the back of my neck-WOW the ideas I get!

Afternoons at work sometimes I get a bit tired, so I take out my peppermint oil and inhale! I instantly feel revived and it works great for headaches as well. During the day I incorporate my Core Supplements for overall health and well-being. Evenings I may have another shot of my Ningxia Red, add some oils to my home diffuser so the family enjoys the benefits as well and add oils to my cooking and baking as I feel fit!

I also use the essential oils with my kids. Prior to my daughters music lessons, we apply Valor to her feet to help her focus. I love epsom salts and lavender in the bath-so does my daughter. Peace and Calming helps them sleep at night and I use a mixture of Lavender, Tea Tree and water in a spray for their hair to prevent lice. No lice in this house since we have started using oils!

For meditating I use Frankincense oil and for relaxing I use Lavander or stress away...

There are so many wonderful ways to use essential oils to support mental, physical, emotional and spiritual health! I love Young Living's promise to honor Authenticity, sustainability and offering products to replace the harmful chemical enhanced personal care and household products I used to use.

For all you beautiful phenomenal ladies I share one of my favorite poems...

Pretty women wonder where my secret lies.
I’m not cute or built to suit a fashion model’s size
But when I start to tell them,
They think I’m telling lies.
I say,
It’s in the reach of my arms,
The span of my hips,
The stride of my step,
The curl of my lips.
I’m a woman
Phenomenally.

Phenomenal woman,
That’s me.

I walk into a room
Just as cool as you please,
And to a man,
The fellows stand or
Fall down on their knees.
Then they swarm around me,
A hive of honey bees.
I say,
It’s the fire in my eyes,
And the flash of my teeth,
The swing in my waist,
And the joy in my feet.
I’m a woman
Phenomenally.

Phenomenal woman,
That’s me.

Men themselves have wondered
What they see in me.
They try so much
But they can’t touch
My inner mystery.
When I try to show them,
They say they still can’t see.
I say,
It’s in the arch of my back,
The sun of my smile,
The ride of my breasts,
The grace of my style.
I’m a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That’s me.

Now you understand
Just why my head’s not bowed.
I don’t shout or jump about
Or have to talk real loud.
When you see me passing,
It ought to make you proud.
I say,
It’s in the click of my heels,
The bend of my hair,
the palm of my hand,
The need for my care.
’Cause I’m a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That’s me.
Maya Angelou, “Phenomenal Woman” from And Still I Rise.

Responsibility and Divine Consciousness

Hi My name is Beth. It has been 15 months since my last blog.

Yes, I was lost in mass consciousness. How does this happen? Hmmm...lack of proper protection, living on auto pilot, allowing my emotional body and self conscious mind to run a muck, seeking love and self worth outside the self...Maybe the news, the drowning of negativity that suffocates us from certain people in our life, day to day "mind thinking".

During 2013 I was self employed, "self" run...I made time for meditation, reading and loving. I still cared for my family and household chores, but no employer involved-nor outsiders whom I needed to "shield" myself from negativity. My business was created with love to help others to be happy and healthy..."those" were the people I had the most contact with...I met many beautiful kindred spirits during this part of the journey. Life was good.

Due to a series of unpredictable events, I returned to the workforce in January 2014-and wow did things change. Maybe it was the fact I worked n a jail (but oy vey). It wasn't long until I realized that Prison wasn't good for me, so I broke out in May and now have a job that IS truly rewarding.

But what a change I experienced, I felt myself being sucked in to mass consciousness and I despised it. Many things I enjoyed fell by the wayside. Wishing the world would also view time as an illusion to be able to DO more-major difficulty "being" in the present moment.

During this transition back to the workforce, I maintained my "oils" part of my business..maybe it was the passion I felt or the relationships I have built or the dream I have..but I was not letting go of that.

Luckily I have an amazing mentor whom holds me accountable in a loving way.  A few months ago, I received as assignment called "The principle of Responsibility" to read 10 times a day for 21 consecutive days. I can not tell you how many initial attempts I had. But I can tell you that today I completed my 21st day and feel freaking awesome about it!!

During the last few leadership meetings I have attended, my mentor has discussed "mass consciousness" that surrounds us and to rise above it. Many people in the world are victims or sheep in a sense-they take on the energy that surrounds them. (Unfortunately much negativity thrives here)

In my heart, I know we are each here for a divine purpose (some of us may not know what yet) but we have a DIVINE purpose on this lifetime journey. It makes sense to me that I need to surround myself with positive people and attune my consciousness on a more spiritual/divine level with other like hearted spirits.

Today, 21 days of reading my Responsibility exercise...it finally clicked that this exercise would help me raise myself out of mass consciousness. Don't get me wrong I had many revelations throughout this learning experience but it was a completely unexpected awareness that I had to share.

How I can be Responsible, avoid mass consciousness and enhance my Divine Purpose:
(my Top 5 with helpful oils)

1. Claim ownership and full control of my life.(Valor)
2. Let go of those people and things in my life that no longer serve me for my highest good. (Forgiveness)
3. (Protect myself with White Angelica)  Roll with the punches-other peoples opinions and peripheral situations have no power over me.
4. Surround myself with positive, like minded/hearted people, those whom I wish to be more like. (Joy)
5. I accept life's invitation to be all I am capable of being.(Highest Potential)

Peace, Harmony & Oils,
Beth

PHW Fall changes

I chose to make some time to contemplate things this weekend... my primary foods: career, spirituality, physical activity and relationships. Primary foods and secondary foods(the nourishment we eat) need to be in balance for a complete holistic life of true health wealth and happiness. This is what I coach other about..Being that it is September 1st, I reviewed my goals, my past and my vision for the future. This is an exercise I highly recommend, what good is having goals if you do not review them to check your status...I have been open now for 3 months, it has been a balancing act as my business is 4 fold (natural food sales, health coaching, Young Living Essential Oils and Wholeshare coordinator) all while trying to be Super Mom, Housekeeper of the year..and a wife. I have slipped on some of my primary foods and need to re-center. I had a wonderful meditation this afternoon which helped immensely.

In an effort to work on my own primary foods, I had to make some changes. I have developed Fall hours-which may not be feasible for all but they work for me-at this time in my life. I also have certain dates that I will be closed-Unfortunately at this time I have no paid employees. I am always open to volunteers who may want to barter services.  But for now, this is how I will operate the shop. Sundays we are closed for family time. Monday and Tuesday are by appointment only (I saved these 2 days for health coaching activities/office work), Wednesday-Friday 9-5 and Saturday 9-12. I hope to be offering workshops Saturday afternoons and group sessions begin in October on Wednesday evenings. That being said, as from stated at the beginning, I am always open by appointment to meet your needs-call me at 315-264-5554 to make other arrangements to stop in the shop-I may be available at the time you call!

I created this business to show others how to live happy and healthy lives. I wanted to incorporate healthy, non-gmo and organic foods to offer to my community. My husband and I have done this out of pocket and it has been challenging, but we have been creative. I decided to offer the Wholeshare shopping opportunity to those interested in healthy foods-to offer more of a selection. I have been keeping track of different suggestions for stock from folks whom have come in (it is all different). I still keep my list, but is impossible to get everything right now..That is where wholeshare is wonderful-they have just about everything you need! If not then the Green polka dot box or Sunfood can meet your needs-you can order from those companies right off my website! here is the link:  http://elizabeth-aust.healthcoach.integrativenutrition.com/ShopwithBeth

Please feel free to check out my website (Peakesharmony.com) to see everything we have to offer, we hope to grow but are taking baby steps..Currently I am level 2 Reiki and studying to be a Reiki Master-this has been a beautiful journey for me, spiritually..this primary food continues to grow..Thank you creator!

AS with the essential oils from Young Living, these are amazing products but again I am unable to keep these in the shop for sale..(Except for the Thieves line that I do carry-toothpaste, mouthwash, cleaning solution and hand soap) I can however help you become a customer or better yet a distributor so you can reap the wholesale benefits as I do(this is so the better option-whether you want to build a business or just order oils for your personal usage). Questions? call me, we will talk!

I felt the need to let all of you wonderful people know what is happeneing in my life and why the changes, I am still here for all of you and hope to see you soon!

And if you too want to learn to live happier and healthier, call me for a FREE health consult, it is 1 hour of my time and all attention on you. Nothing to loose, just more to gain..

Peace&Harmony
Beth

welcome of the full moon, let it be

The morning of the full moon
Sun peeking through the trees of the east
Birds, peacefully signing
squirrels readily building nests and gathering nuts
Not a cloud in sight
Sage cleans the air as a sense of compassion covers my heart
A new beginning is near
The wind gently cleanses my face anew
Humbly, I write
A calmness tingles my body as I rise new a higher vibration
And now, the sounds are clearer
The path widens, there is joy
The lush grass cools my feet
I am rooted to the mother
Life enjoys me
I welcome the full moon as graceful gratitude returns in waves
Let it Be.

An ode to Uncle Bill on his Birthday

The above photos with my family in Maine.and the cabin where my Uncle Bill, Aunt Adeline and family had spent many a summer...below-some pieces I have written in the past..Have you ever felt a connection with someone you may not have been close per say too? a relative, friend or even acquaintance..I suppose as I get older, maybe I am more open or just more aware or just more sensitive to people who have made an impact somehow in my life...Life is short but sweet for certain as Dave says..

From 8/16/11...

what I have learned on my trip to Maine..
-no helmet law, those motorcyclists are called organ donors.
-the numerous "watch for moose on highway" signs are purely for tourists adrenaline...there was no need to freak out..
-family and friends always reach out in a time of need..thank you much
-if a dying old man says a drink at dinner will make him happy...give him the damn drink
-we all have gifts..do not tie up your to do lists with things we can not achieve...create realistic lists within your means and life flows much smoother
-the tide is always higher after a full moon...
-screw story books, listen to life stories of those whom have lived...re-tell those stories to your children..
-life is short, value and honor those who are special in your life..near or far and always smile at miles..per my Dad.

***************************************************************************
from 10/1/11....

Uncle Bill,
Although we lived miles apart and times spent together too few,
Stories told to me by my dad brought me closer to you,
Your converse sneakers and canoe are only a few things that will remind me of you,
Now that your earthly task is complete, your spiritual journey continues,
As you “work the waves” of the Taunton Bay on this cold September day
..I bid adieu…

Happy Birthday Uncle Bill..

Books and hummingbirds..

Like you Uncle Bill, I have accumulated oodles of books, I love them, I like to research-I find it fulfilling. I may not remember everything-but I take notes. Since we spoke last-I have continued my education,-and will expand my lifelong journey of endless learning-For the past year, I have researched, studied, made calls, followed up and talked to anyone who would listen about my business venture. A whole year and soon it will launch. I have been laughed at, used, lied to and have had obstacles thrown in my way. BUT, I have also been supported, loved, acknowledged and accepted. The emotional roller coaster alone in this experience has been deluded. I always found your intellect awe inspiring. As well as your love for nature. I remember how you enjoyed watching the hummingbirds. I researched animal totems-hummingbirds to be exact-and I am humbled by what I have learned.

"By association with the hummingbird power animal, you may have already developed a strong adaptability and are typically quick to respond to any demand. Brought to the extreme, this ability may lead you to emotional instability as you shift rapidly from one feeling or mood to another without warning. The spirit of the hummingbird is a powerful mean to lighten up your mood when you feel down. When facing challenges or an environment plagued by negativity, call on the hummingbird to help you bring a positive outlook on the situation and find your way out with optimism. Don’t be deceived by the size of this spirit animal: Even if the hummingbird is one of the smallest birds, it can travel great distances. Those who have that bird as totem are characterized by their resiliency and their ability to run great distances tirelessly. Inspired by this totem, you will be inclined to accomplish what seems impossible to most while keeping it light and enjoyable. The hummingbird is known for burning a lot of energy quickly to keep flying and therefore needs to find sources of food constantly. If you have the hummingbird as a totem, you may benefit from resting often and taking time to feed yourself with enough, whether it’s physically, emotionally or spiritually, to keep going."

Every time I see a hummingbird, a smile fills my heart and I think of you, you have passed this totem guide to me and I thank you. I will call upon him when the negativity or challenges upon me seem overwhelming. As I continue to push through to become what God intended I will keep flying steadily, meditating, exercising, nourishing my body-loving myself to travel the distance.

...and yes I have the photo Gerry took of a hummingbird visibly in my shop to remind me :)

And I thank you from the  bottom of my heart..for I could not of pursued this far on my journey without your help...

Until we meet again,

Elizabeth
