Are we there yet?

The lotus flower represents one symbol of fortune in Buddhism. It grows in muddy water, and it is this environment that gives forth the flower’s first and most literal meaning: rising and blooming above the murk to achieve enlightenment.

The second meaning, which is related to the first is purification. It resembles the purifying of the spirit which is born into murkiness. The third meaning refers to faithfulness. Those who are working to rise above the muddy waters will need to be faithful followers.

It has been an impetuous year...ups, downs and flat-lines, I believe I have experienced them all. Challenges and decisions galore-topped with the emotional roller coaster that comes with all of it..

I quit my job last April to pursue my dream- An excerpt from "my Vision" I wrote at that time..."I am a successful holistic health coach/nurse with a thriving business which is reflected in freedom and monetary reward. My personal life and career are intertwined into a life I love! I envision hosting cooking classes, coaching clients and professional writing. I complete my first book and am financially able offer my classes to those less fortunate who NEED it. I am a philanthropist.I share my passion for holistic health care, nutrition, supporting local farmers & other businesses, green efforts and gardening. Surrounded by loved ones who support me and I support them. I continue to give to others as well as receive all good things life has to offer."

My daily affirmation from Louise Hay " I truly believe that we are here to bless and prosper each other. I reflect this belief in my daily interactions"

Now, My husband has been a big supporter my journey thus far-working his tail off to cover the bills while I get my business established. As well as listening, remodeling, completing permits, etc.. OH and agreeing to disagree on multiple accounts! My friends and family have listened to me day in day out as I become consumed with details and red tape. Those around me have been so supportive offering ideas, suggestions an assistance-I have been blessed.

I have been networking, networking, networking...talking to everyone about Young Living oils, my health coaching and my natural foods..and yes there is more..I still have more I wish to do and expand..but one step at a time. Hey Victor Hugo says" Dream no small dream".
I have been to events from Utica, Syracuse, Illion, Oneida, Rome and Canastota as of next weekend.I have participated in events such as Psychic Fairs, Health Fairs, craft shows and even garage sales..
I continue to write monthly newsletters, blogs and talking to people.
I also read, research, email people and yes talk to more people. I have done a few workshops despite my fear of speaking in front of others-

I continue to push through after being told initially I could not open as planned, being denied on the initial building permit for a ramp, lack of funds and so forth..WHY???

Because once upon a time.... "there was a girl who believed she could and she did" "She turned her cant's into cans and her dreams into plans"

so I can too..

Come see me June 4, 2013...that is the 5th and last "opening date" I have had....:)

Peace

Beth
