Happy New Year! I have heard 2013 is the year of manifesting! In numerology this is a number 6 year. As Louise Hay states "It can be the best of years if we are willing to be responsible for our actions". A great year for new home, marriage or even a business!
That being said I am manifesting a wonderful 2013 using my affirmations, positive thinking and gratitude. Affirmations or mantras are a wonderful way to create a life you love to live! I was introduced to affirmations and Louise Hay several years ago by a counselor. I was having great difficulty letting go of the past, most especially loosing my mom and brother. I had been to a few counselor..whom just didn't "fit" for me. Then I found one whom was amazing. She challenged me to review my past, love it, nourish it..same with the pain I was experiencing. I learned it was OK to feel and grieve and even when I have these emotions come up..FEEL it, allow it to sit with me, to make me a better person and then move on.
She introduced me to Louise Hay's book "how you can heal your life" Which I recommend to EVERYONE! matter of fact..I have purchased multiple copies of the book and shared with many a friend:) This book teaches us how to love ourselves, work through the past, change our thoughts and create a better future. With a little mental work we can heal anything and anything is possible.
Back to affirmations and changing our thoughts. Our brains are crazy little guys..always thinking, planning, acting..and sometimes we have thoughts of fear or anxiety that can overwhelm us a great deal. Fear of the unknown, anxiety about the future, despair about the past. We can change our thoughts..it has been taught to me that our thoughts create our future..a universal law..Karma..the Golden rule..what we put out we get back! It starts within my friends...
I have a list of affirmations I say daily, for example..I love and approve of myself, all my relationships are harmonious, I have a healthy and slender body. All is well in my world, I experience love wherever I go, I can release the past and forgive everyone, Life supports me, Divine wisdom guides me,I turn every experience into an opportunity, I prosper wherever I turn, there is plenty for everyone, including me, I am open and receptive to new avenues of income!
Yes we get constant flow of thoughts in our heads, we are human, it happens. What do you do if you get a negative thought?? Do you dwell on it? does it "affect" your day?? Listen it is only a thought and thoughts can be changed..yes this requires work..but you can do it! When I get a negative thought I say "OUT" and redirect myself. I may start repeating some affirmations in my head or even out loud (yes my kids think I am crazy). I tell my self I choose my thoughts with care, I am willing to change and grow.
I also am grateful for each and every experience, we are here to learn, love and grow. Before getting out of bed, when the thoughts of housework, bills, work, etc pop in..I take a few deep cleansing breaths and start telling God and the Universe Thank you, Thank you, thank you...I am grateful for my husband, my children, our home and its contents, food, the ability to cook, everything...Gratitude can bring even bigger blessings upon us..

So start your 2013 of right, manifest the best year ever! Positive thoughts, affirmations and be grateful and you be amazed at the life you create!
